Keller Williams City Life Hoboken Red Day Supports CASA!

Thank you to KW City Life Hoboken for raising over $12,000 for children in foster care!

Hudson County CASA was selected as the recipient of funds raised on Red Day, Keller William’s annual day of giving back to the community.

These funds will support “Project Helping Hands,” a program supplying special items and opportunities for children in foster care such as tutoring, therapy sessions, bikes, sports equipment, and prom and graduation expenses.

Thank you Keller Williams Hoboken!

Foster Children Need your Old IPads!

little boy ipdad.jpg

Many of our foster children lack access to technology and in order to do their school work must share one device with an entire household. Hudson County CASA is collecting used iPads to provide these kids with a way to learn and play.

The iPads can either be dropped at 1004 Garden Street in Hoboken or dropped or shipped to the CASA office at 442 Hoboken Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306.

In order to be donated, the iPads must include a charger and be restored to factory settings. For more information or assistance, please email aleite@hudsoncountycasa.org.

Thank you for your continuing generosity!

Hudson County CASA's Response to COVID-19

Hudson County CASA’s primary responsibility is the health and safety of our volunteers, staff, and children we serve. After discussions with staff and closely monitoring local government response to COVID-19, we are taking the following steps within our organization during this time;

Our Office will be closed to the public, but we anticipate having one staff member present during business hours.

Our foremost concern is that our volunteers are monitoring our children. Volunteer visits in person are suspended and monthly visits will take place through email, phone, or text.

Our information sessions have been suspended until further notice. We will be offering phone information sessions for all interested potential volunteers. If you would like to schedule an information session phone call, please email Volunteer Coordinator Clare Daley at cdaley@hudsoncountycasa.org.

Hudson County CASA will continue to monitor the situation and follow local municipality regulations regarding COVID-19. We are trying to balance the needs and safety of our staff and volunteers without losing focus on the children we serve.
